East Warrington PCN and Central East Warrington PCN came together to deliver Men Matter Week – a collaborative initiative aimed at raising awareness of the local services, resources and support available to help men prioritise their mental health and wellbeing.
Throughout the week, eight GP practices worked alongside 13 community organisations to deliver a programme of digital awareness campaigns and a Wellbeing Marketplace Event at Orford Jubilee Hub. Together, they showcased the wide range of support available across Warrington and encouraged open conversations about men's wellbeing.
The dedicated website page reached around 3,500 people online, while the marketplace event welcomed approximately 50 attendees, creating valuable opportunities for residents to connect with local organisations and access support in a welcoming environment.
Men Matter Week was a fantastic example of neighbourhood working, demonstrating the impact that can be achieved when primary care and community partners work together with a shared focus on improving the health and wellbeing of local people.
