Know your numbers week takes place every September and aims to reach people who have high blood pressure but do not know it, so they can access the treatment and support they need to bring it under control.
High blood pressure often has no symptoms, but it can increase the risk of serious health conditions, including heart attacks, strokes and kidney disease. It is estimated that one in three people in Warrington could be living with undiagnosed high blood pressure, meaning many residents may be living with high blood pressure without knowing it.
As part of Know Your Numbers Week, a range of free drop-in blood pressure check sessions will be available across the borough. No appointment is necessary.
These events aim to identify residents who may have undiagnosed high blood pressure, enabling them to access the support and treatment needed to manage their condition.
